Can anybody suggest a good decent towncar or limo company? There are so many out there, I'm so confused. What can I expect to pay going from MCO to Ron Jon Resort and then back to airport after our cruise is over.
Thanks in advance!

we are using fltours they come highly recommended from this site i believe there website is fltours.com.. they are very nice

I hired Happy Limo to take us from the ship to MCO. Have heard lots of great reviews.

For just the two of us, it is a little over $100 (this includes all tolls, taxes, and gratuity for the driver). I think that's expensive, but Disney wanted $30 per person to ride the DCL bus. I figured for $40 more, this would be worth it!

We used Magic City Transportation. They were great & very reasonably priced. They also provide car seats & strollers.

Some are FL limo, Tiffany limo, Happy limo. Check the web, there are some discount coupons available sometimes. Generally, the cost of a limo service is about the same as the cost of DCL transfers for 3 people. 3 or more in your party, the limo comes out the same or cheaper than transfers. Most limo services allow a 15 minute grocery or Walmart stop....this can be a real blessing if you realize that you've forgotten something important.

Cartier Towncar is awesome. I used them in February and will again this December. Prompt, curteous, friendly drivers (good driver as well).

I'll second the Cartier recommendation. We've used them for every trip so far and found no reason to even try anyone else. Clean, comfortable cars, friendly drivers and prompt service. Good luck! :flower:

We used FL Tours last year and are using them again this year - great service, clean cars, prompt...reminder email and phone call. If you book on-line there is also a coupon you can print out and give to your driver for a few $$$ off the cost.

We used Southern Elegance Limo and they were FANTASTIC and 1 of the cheapest we found!

We took them from Port Orleans to the Port and back and it was great! They even had Disney character stuffed animals that were huge and got to do a ride along with us each way! The driver George was fabulous with the kids, the car was beautiful and clean and we couldn't beat the price. It's been a few years but I think going from POR to the Port and back to MCO it was 200 total + tip but I might be off...getting old ;)

Their website is
http://www.selimo.net/ and you can get a quote and testimonials from people including us about their experience with Southern Elegance.

We just used Tiffany Towncar's stretch limo again, and had excellent service :)

This was our 4th time using them.

Their price, as quoted to me just a couple of days ago, for roundtrip from MCO to a Port Canaveral hotel, is $250, plus 20% gratuity, for a total of $300. (Again, this price is for a 10-12 passenger white stretch limo).

After a day of traveling, there is nothing better than taking the escalator down to the luggage area and seeing your driver standing there with a sign with your name on it! Then once you get into the limo, there is a Disney DVD playing on the 3 separate screens, and ice cold spring water and sodas waiting for you :) The driver also helps you with your luggage at the airport and also at the hotel.

We just had the same experience using Tiffany Towncar. The driver was a bit reserved, but he was extremely nice and had the exact same set up with The Lion King playing in the DVD system and cold refreshments waiting for us. He had no problem handling all of our bags and dropped us off at our hotel without a problem. I was at first a little concerned considering some of the negative feedback the company has received lately, but everything turned out fine. I was considering Quicksilver but their rate for a one way limo ride was actually double what Tiffany was charging. The owner was nice but not nice enough for that price.

We will be using FL Tours because I received a very nice discount by becoming a DIS Sponsor.

You may want to read my recent experience using FL Tours for transportation from the port here. It sounds like DCL is more prompt and predictable when it comes to disembarkation times, but you never know if a bad day with customs may cause unexpected delay. As of now, if we decide to go the towncar route we would not use FL Tours because of our last experience. But it appears that others here are happy with FL Tours.

I just booked Tiffany. All Star Movies to Port $150 plus tip for a Limo.

Yipeeee can't wait.

I highly recommend FL Tours. They handled our last minute flight change last summer due to a hurricane very well. The owner Andy even met us at the airport. Many of his client's flights were cancelled and rescheduled so he wanted to be at the airport to make sure things went as smoothly as possible given the circumstances. The limo was spotless and driver professional and courteous. Our return from WDW to MCO went without a hitch as well. I know I sound like a commercial, but I really can't say enough about the excellent service we received. We'll be using them again our next trip. They've added a Hummer limo to their fleet which we'll probably hire since we're a larger group this time around.

My vote goes for Happy Limo! Extremely friendly drivers, spotless cars - and they even upgraded us from a towncar to a big, bright yellow HUMMER for our trip to port.

It was a blast - and a great way to set off on our cruise! (and I'm not even a big fan of Hummers, but it sure made the trip unique)

i just called happy limo for a price quote and it was 322.00 - 10.00=312.00 plus tip for a town car from mco to boardwalk, from boardwalk to port, from port to mco not including tip... thats a little steep for a town car... i got a better quote from fl tours
