towncar ? drop-off/ pick-up different resort..

I'm considering a split stay... and wondering if the towncars drop you off at one resort and pick you up at a different .... is there an extra charge? Has anyone done this? We are using FL Tours if this makes any difference. TIA

I did this in May. I split my stay between BC and AKL. It was no problem to do this, no extra cost. I used Jimmy from Golden Limo though. I would just make sure and call the night before pickup (If they don't call you like Jimmy did) to ensure you'll be picked up at the correct location.

We've done this as well (Happy Limo). It was no problem at all.

I did this once before with a towncar company. Even though I had noted it there was confusion and they first went to the other resort. Eventually the remembered where I was. They were only a few minutes late on the pickup because of this, but I learned my lesson to be sure to give them a cell phone number I could be reached at.

For my upcoming trip I am again doing a split stay. This time I am using Murry Hill transportation and was told there would not be an additional charge. I did give them my cell phone number. And I will be sure to reconfirm with the driver when I arrive in Orlando.

We split our stay between the POFQ and the Poly in June, we used Tiffany Town car. There was no problem. I was worried that there would be an extra fee being picked up at a MK resort but there was not.

We have done the exact thing you are doing. We even used FL Tours. There may or may not be an extra $5-$10 depending on where your resort location is. I believe anything considered a Downtown Disney resort is the cheaper of the two. I recommend going to their website and checking which catagory your resorts fall under. It will just make a difference of the cheapest trip being $80 r.t. vs the higher one being $85-90.

They are really good about double checking with you on your drop-off and pick-up locations! We usually always go for 2 weeks and resort hop twice. Have fun!!!! We are going again in January!!!!!

We did this with Murray Hill in May. We were dropped off at Port Orleans and picked up at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. No problems at all and no extra fees.
