TOWL or CA Grill fireworks?

Just wondering for those of you who have been to TOWL, is it worth dining at a earlier time at California Grill and then heading over to TOWL for fireworks viewing, or would you just coordinate meal and stay at California Grill to view them? I am planning for a grand gathering trip to BLT on points and while we have been to California Grill (and loved it) I am just curious how TOWL expeirience compares. Thanks!

The view is about the same. Remember that if you decide on BLT, your whole party will have to take the 4th floor Contemporary bridge to BLT, go down to the 1st floor, check in and take the elevator to the 18th floor.

I've seen the fireworks view from a window table at the CG and from the TOTWL Deck. I prefer the deck. Much less crowded there and IMO, a better/closer view.

It's also easier to get an earlier reservation at the CG than one that is closer to fireworks time.

If you will have access to the TOTWL, I'd arrange things there.
