I currently have a 31' Fifth wheel. I was considering going with a shorter fifth wheel capable of towing an additional small boat trailer(tandem towable).
Anyone out there have any experience with tandem towable travel trailers?

It's been discussed here a few times. Once by me lol. I see it a lot, especially in the Keys by people who don't want to take 2 trucks to do one job.

I've talked to a couple state troopers and was told that if the lights, safety chains and what not is good they don't pull them over but if your lights and safety equipment don't jive they will pull it.

I personally have a 5th wheel toy hauler, but my golf cart doesn't fit so I am consideing a trailer for the cart. Best thing I can recommend is get a light plug put on and make sure your lights are working correctly. Second, install a rear camera to watch your rig. If anything happens back there with that boat I doubt you'd know it until somebody pulled next to you or you see it flying down the road behind you.

Not sure what state your in or where your going but tandem is illegal in some states. Florida is one of them. But its legal in Texas.
