Has anyone stayed in the Tower rooms in the Contemporary? If so, what did you think? In addition, has anyone stayed in the Tower Club floors, are they worth the additional cost ? Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Also, how are the views, Especially the MK side ? Thanks in advance....

We've stayed in the tower club and tower. We always request MK view and received it each time. The view is amazing especially at night. It's also fun to come out of your room and here the singing from Chef Mickey's in the morning and at night and to see the monorail coming thru. Each time we stayed at the tower club we used fall fantasy which was very reasonable so it was worth it b/c there was continental breakfast in the morning. Also, in the afternoon when we came back to swim or rest, there were snacks and drinks (non-alcoholic). We really enjoyed the Contemporaray especially since you can walk to the MK. Try to get a tower room with Fall Fantasy or codes and it will be worth it.

We just go back from 11 nights at the Cont. Tower Club. THe rooms are the same as the other rooms in the resort. I request the lake/pool view because I enjoy sitting on the balcony and watching the boats go by. CR is my favorite resort. We just love it there. The concierge staff is great, they go out of their way to help you anyway they can. In the am from 7-10 they have bagels, donuts, croussants(sp?), danish, juices, coffee, tea, oatmeal, cereal and a few other foods. They have it set up right outside the elevators, and theres a few chairs and tables. We ate there every morn. and boy did it save us $$. Then from 2-4 they have coffee, lemonade, brownies, rice krispie treats and a few ther snacks. When we were around the room at that time we snacked there. Overall, the CR is a wonderful resort, with lots to do, the tower rooms are wonderful and the staff is first-rate.

Thanks for all the great information, we're actually looking to stay sometime in 2003. But planning the trip can be almost as much fun as the vacation.

I, too, have stayed at the CR in a Tower Club room. The concierge Cast Members there were wonderful to work with and I had a lovely stay. I have some photos of my room, view, and the concierge lounge area of the 12th floor -- click here to view my CR photos. By the way, some of the food photos were taken by my young daughter -- you'll know which ones they are when you view them (I love photos taken by a child, they really have an "eye" for the important things!).

We stayed in the tower last November and loved it! The rooms are very spacious!

Staying in a tower room at the Contemporary was one of our most magical WDW stays! The rooms are some of the largest on property. The bathroom was nicely set up. We left the drapes open all night, so we would know the light coming in was from the MK! And of course the proximity to the MK was wonderful!

Janet2K, Thanks so much for the pictures. We are going to WDW, staying at the CR in Oct. Looking at your pictures really gets me into the Dis mode, can't wait to experience the magic.:)

I am getting ready to book our next trip to WDW for late JUne/early July. We know we're going to stay at the CR. Right now I'm trying to decide between staying more days in one of the garden wing rooms, or paying more money for Tower club and staying fewer days. Any thoughts on this? Is the Tower club really worth it?

Our very favorite resort is the Contemporary, but in the Tower rooms (not necessarily Tower Club). We love the pool view and the tooting of the boats going over to the Wilderness Lodge or Discovery Island areas. The pictures of the MK view were also lovely and we may ask for that view next time. Go for a Tower Room on a high floor. We stayed in the Wings on one visit and the "magic" was somehow not there. It's a great resort.

We stayed in a Tower Room 3 years ago on the floor right below Tower Club (10th floor, I think) and we had a wonderful view of Magic Kingdom and the fireworks at night. We also kept the drapes open all night and enjoyed the ever changing colors of the Cinderella's Castle. The room is spacious and so is the bathroom. The only thing we had to get used to was the bright and bold color scheme.
