hey i was wondering if the Tower of Terror is good for a 8 year old.

How about a 12 year old

All depends on each child.
The ride is pretty intense if you do not know what to expect. If your children are daredevils, then you should not have a problem. If your children scare easily, then avoid this attraction with them. You should do it anyway though cause it RULES!!!

Well the 1st time i rode it i was 10 or 11 .......... but i wish i would have ridden it sooner! IT"S GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it all depends on your kids though. you feel completely secure, and it really cool when you see the whole park through the doors that open at the top! oooooooooo i miss it!

My daughter was 6 the first time she went on ToT. She asked alot of questions, like will it be ok, what is going to happen next? I will say this, "that she surprised me." After she rode it the very first time, we went back on 3 more times, back to back to back. You know your children better than anyone. But if they like rides....they should like ToT.

just got back and my 5 and 6 year old were actually brave enough to try it - they did ask a lot of questions and we asked a couple kids on there way out what they thought and basically everybody said if they weren't scared of the dark and like rollercoasters they'll love it.
they couldn't wait to buy the picture after it (just like splash mountain) so that they have proof to show all their OLDER cousins - who chickened out last year!! - that they did it -
i must admit that not knowing what to expect was pretty freaky but would definitely do it again.

My DS was 4 the first time he rode. At the end he grabbed my hand and we ran back up to ride it again.

It really does depend on the child...a child with a fear of heights or of falling will not do well on ToT. It is a very smooth ride, though, and absolutely thrilling.
