Heard it's being closed for testing on what it does to the human body and may go through some kind of refurbishment. Don't know all the details.

I have not heard this, but I know that it does some pretty funny things to my body. Haha! It's one of my most favorite rides, but I just feel weird getting off it. Doesn't stop me from getting right back on though.

First I've heard of it. I'm going to move this thread to the Rumors and News board until Disney issues some kind of official confirmation.

Please don't take this personally, but if this were true this would be headline news not only here, but on all the other fan sites like allears, mouseplanet, screamscape, and even a news item in the Orlando Sentinel.

Sorry, I don't take it personally. They really dragged it out for a long time. The guy is reporting from Disney and it was a back and forth for at least an hour. Apparently, it's an April fools joke. Although, on the 17th..bit late you'd think. ;)

Hmmm. I suspect ten years from now, after many people have ridden it many times, they are going to discover that it makes mincemeat out of ones intestines....................

Yeah, I fell for this one. I guess it was funny for some. That's o.k. It was set up pretty well. Although, I have felt slightly off when walking away from this ride. Lately, the motion sickness gets to me. Can't fault them if they love it. :confused3
