Tower of Terror....for my 4 year old? Yeah right!

I ve seen that video on youtube,I have showed it to my 4/yo. We are going to DHS May 16th,,and he cant wait to ride it! So Im going to let him. Last 2 trips he never could ride anything and we had to do baby swap,,he cried and cried. Now he can ride just about everything!:cool1: now my wife wont go crazy, she didnt like to have to hear him cry.

My son went on it when he was 4 at DW and my my daughter went on it at DL this past summer when she was 4. Luckily they aren't afraid of anything...now my youngest may be another story...Have fun!

I have no doubt my dd would have ridden at 4. But she was 5 when we went and was exactly 48" tall. She rode everything - including Tower of Terror, Rock n' Roller Coaster, Expedition Everest, Primevil Whirl, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Test Track, etc. She had been looking forward to Goofy's Barnstormer because it was the one attraction she remembered from her previous trip (she was just short of turning 3). She was so disappointed because it was a "baby ride" (her words).

My son will be 4 in June and will be doing TOT. He is the biggest daredevil of all my boys and has no fear (except of going to the doctor, LOL)

My oldest 2 were 6 & 8 the first time we went to Disney. They went on it once and said it was ok but wouldn't do it again - hubby had to ride alone because of baby swap, LOL. Last year, the oldest 2 loved it and rode multiple times, my then 7 yr old rode twice - once with me, once with hubby and that was enough. This year he plans on riding at least once because the youngest will - he turns 9 right before the trip so I can't wait to see his feelings on it this year.

LOL...I'm not really sure that would happen :rotfl:

But he's now tall enough and when we go in May he'll be turing 4 on the trip and "allowed" by Disney to go on it.

Well at least he'll be able to go on Splash Mountain too!! :cool1:

Mine was just barely 5 when we went. And as you leave the ride, there's an automated voice that says "We hope you'll come again to the Tower of Terror" ( or something like that ) and he turned around shaking hist fist and said "NEVER AGAIN YOU STUPID IDIOT!" .... Language aside, it was pretty funny.

Just a note, he was 7 the next time we went and couldn't wait to get back on that attraction.

My son was 3 (going on 4) the first time he rode and it scared him terribly! He has refused to ride it each year since. I can say that he is ready to try it again this June. He is 6 now.

My daughter LOVED Tower of Terror (and everything else) at age 4. Now at almost 6, she was scared of TOT, hated Expedition Everest, and closed her eyes through Pirates and Haunted Mansion. Kids are strange! :confused3

My DD will be turning 5 during our April trip. I don't know if she will be tall enough yet. She is tiny for her age. Only measuring a little over 39 inches right now. Makes me sad if not tall enough by then, because I really want her to be able to ride at least Soarin' and Splash Mountain. I keep talking to her about ToT and showed videos. She says No Way! I know her personality, and the que would scare her more than the actual ride.

My 4 yo hated it....not the ride, he was excited for it (which is why we allowed him to go on it), but the theming really scared him! Even now when we talk about our WDW trip he says "I am NOT going on Tower of Terror" LOL!

My 5 year old insisted on ToT during our December trip. We tried to convince him that it was too scary but he was sure he wanted to go. My DH took him on the ride but he was pretty scared. Afterwards he told me that the ride tried to kill him! Now my 4 year old daughter wants to try ToT on our next trip. We'll see....
