Does DCL allow you to take stateroom towels with you for port excursions? I know you don't need them for Castaway Cay but what if you are going on a boat ride, beach, etc... at other ports?

Just asking because we want to know if we have to pack towels.

No, but they will give you towels to take ashore. They are the same ones they have on the pool deck.

Even if it is for an excursion we booked on our own and not through DCL?
Yes. There are towel bins as you exit the ship. And in the various meeting venues for the DCL excursions. Or you can take them from the pool area. Just one note, please be sure to return them.

Yep, there are teak bins on the pool deck where you can pick up towels for your private excursion but do return them. There will be used towel return bins outside the ship so you don't have to bring used towels back onboard.

Any DCL sponsored excursion that is water related will have towels piled up at the meeting location for you to take.
