I wanted to pass this "tip" along. I've learned SOOOO much from these boards hopefully someone can use mine...

We go to Six Flags in New Orleans often, and always take along several compact "camping" towels. We buy these at our local Walmart or Sports Authority in the camping section, and they cost about $1.25 each. They start out about the size of the compact ponchos I have read about on this site, and open up to a decent sized bath towel (not fluffy of course :))

After we get off a really WET ride (especially in Winter), it's nice to be able to open one of these compact towels and dry off a bit. In the Summer we put ice cubes in them and wrap them around our necks to keep cool.

They take up practicaly no room and are so inexpensive we never feel bad pitching them when we're done.

Hope this helps....thanks again for all the great advice!

Can you post a link? I want to take a look at it if it's online. Thanks. :)

we carry a swimmers chamois. They take up little space and are reusable, year after year. I have seen the divers using them during the olympic coverage. You can also find them at automotive stores. They dry you off quickly and just squeeze the water out and use them again. One chamois for the whole family.
