Towels beside the swimming pools at DVC resorts?

Sorry if this has been asked recently but the search facility is down.

Can you tell me if they provide towels beside the pools at DVC or if you have to bring your own from the room.

Towels are available at the pools.

Yes, and they are truely "pool" towels and not as nice as the ones in the room, but very serviceable. They have big metal recepticles for putting the dirty ones in before you leave the pool area.

You would think people did not know about the towel cans when you walk to the pool and see only 10 people in the pool, but every single chair has a wet towel on them.

I wish DVC would check out and check in towels and charge the room for non returned towels.
