Towels at the pool

There's a thread going around regarding someones decision to buy or not to buy DVC because the family has spent quality vacations at the All Stars and is going back of forth because of costs. Well, now I'm thinking about one thing that really peeved me about the All Stars. I got to the pool and there were no towels there. I was told that you asked the mousekeeping for towels for the pool. Now I'm wondering, are there towels by the pool at our "home" resorts. We're going to VB (soon!) do I have to bring towels for the pool? What about VWL? and the rest. We've only been in December so far, and it wasn't swimming weather, and I didn't think to ask or look.

Last November, the main pool at WL offered towels poolside.

As far as I have seen all DVC resorts have towels by the pool. Always well stocked and sometimes still warm!

VMO will offer towels at both the Main Pool and the low-gravity / quiet pool.

All-Stars didn't have towels? I thought they did when we stayed there.
I was pleased to hear the values are now getting irons, iron boards and hair dryers. That was always so odd to me. Any cheap hotel offsite would have those. I always thought with the occupancy those resorts keep surely they could afford to put in some irons....

I hope they never take away the towels at the DVC resort pools. That is just something I expect and is nice to have.

Both SAB and Vero Beach pools provide towels to guests once they have shown their Key To The World card and received their plastic bracelets.

What about HH? Does anyone know if they have towels at the pools there? I am sure you have to bring your own to the beach, but the pools a different story.

Neither Value nor moderate resorts at WDW provide towels at the pools. They tell you to bring your room towels to the pool, and ask Mousekeeping for more if you need them. This really bugs me. I love Riverside, but am always glad we are just there a night or two before heading to DVC. Last year at Riverside we used our 4 room towels at the pool, then had no dry towels for baths/showers after swimming.

you can always find clean, non-used towels laying on every empty, non used chairs and tables at any disney owned pool.
