Towel questions?

I am new having bought SSR in Dec 04, sight unseen, after my sister went on a tour and bought. Then took my mom in Jan 05 to see SSR when we were there and she bought, too! We are trying to squeeze in a summer trip but will definately be there next Jan. Anyway we were wondering how many towels are typically provided in a studio or 1 bedroom? If you need additional towels how would you go about getting them, at what cost, if any? And lastly if you get extra towels when you first arrive, do you also get them replaced on day 4 or do you have to ask for extra towels again? Or am I better off just packing a few? Thanks for any info!

On day 4, they provide towel & trash service which menas they'll empty your trash, etc. However, if yor request more towels in the meantime, extra towels is $ 6.

It's $6 for a Towel Pack of 4 towels, 4 washcloths and 2 hand towels.

To answer the original question, they will provide four towels when you arrive.

If you have a 1BR, you may find that you don't need any extra towels since you have a clothes washer/dryer right in your rooms. Just wanted to make sure you knew that.

I was wondering about that too. We always request extra towels in hotels. We always requested them at Disney's deluxe resorts and got them for free. Six dollars isn't bad though. I'd hate to spend too much time on vacation washing towels, so I guess I'll request extras.

To use at the pool, no. It is not appropriate to get the pool towels with the idea of circumventing the towel charge though people do it from time to time.

Yes they will provide the number of towels for the occupancy of the unit even if there are less staying.
