We had none 2 years ago at CBR (totally gutted) but we had about 5 last year at CSR - they made our holiday!! Plus we had a picture of nemo in a frame in the window. Whenever we came back from the parks DD's cuddly toys were arranged in funny positions - Stitch was even placed on a towel on the toilet seat once
Just a small gesture with little effort makes such a difference to a holiday.
We usually get great service form our room host on Disney cruises with a towel animal every evening but one cruise we got no animals and no ice left in the room, It just wasn't the same, 2 little things changes the mood of a holiday. Left a note in the tip envelope " A tip for you in future towel animals and Ice would be appreciated"
We've never had towel animals in any of the WDW resorts whenever we have stayed over the years BUT we have always had them on every DCL cruise.
An inteesting fact is that the stateroom host / hostess had to learn how to do new animals when the Wonder sailed to the Southern Caribbean last September as they had previously only had to know enough animals to cover a 3 or 4 night cruise. The Southern Caribbean cruises were 10 and 11 nights.
We had them at POR in 2005 and they arranged the DD's teddies in funy poses too like watching the TV holding the remote Hoping for some this year at CSR
