Towel Animal Fun

I wasn't sure where to post this but I thought this might be the best location.

I didn't know there was any such thing as towel animals until I joined the DISboards.

Then I got curious and wondered how they were made. I looked at pictures that were posted trying to figure it out.

Today while browsing at the bookstore for Christmas gifts, I came across a pretty cool book called The Lost Art of Towel Origami.

Of course I had to buy it! I think I'll be getting some thin inexpensive towels to try this out and surprise my kids with their own towel animals.

PS: I did leave the store with 2 Christmas gifts as well for anyone who was wondering.

I've seen that book too, it's awesome. My husband and I loved those little towel animal buggers so much I even made some online videos to help people make their own instead of 'borrowing' them from Disney rooms.
