Hi,

my fiance and I (both 23) have been to WDW twice in the past 2 years, and we are probably returning in sept/october (free dining will get us every time!).

We want to do things that we haven't done before, including tours. I have the info from the Birmbaum and the Unofficial guide, but I would like your comments...

We don't want to do the diving one, and we aren't stayong at AKL, so the sunrise safari is out... :sad2: (I am soooooooo disapointed!)

Any tour that you think is more interesting and has more appeal?

keys to the kingdom at the MK

if you like flowers - the garden tour at Epcot

We loved the Keys to the Kingdom tour and the Segway Tour! The Segway was very awesome and we'll definitely be doing this again! :thumbsup2

DH and I have done "Keys to the Kingdom" and "Hidden Treasures of the World Showcase." They were both fascinating and fun, worth every penny. We had fabulous tour guides for both. Keys is especially nice because it includes lunch.

Did anybody do the Backstage to Animal Kingdom Tour? We were thinking it looked very interesting...

we did Keys the other day. FANTASTIC!!!
Lunch at Columbia Harbour House was not very good tho. Dh did not enjoy his salad and my sandwich(with cole slaw) is to be avoided at all costs. YUCK

FYI, If you have a Disney Visa they are offering a 20% discount until Sept.30th. If you have the Disney Visa you may want to consider booking and taking the tour before the 30th... :Pinkbounc

I've looked at the Disney site and at allearsnet and can't find the information that I want. Y'all are a wealth of info, so I figured I'd pose the question to you.

A friend wants to give my fiancee and I a 'backstage tour' as a wedding gift (what can I say, we believe in building memories more than tangible items). So I'm seeking the following information regarding the Segway tour of Epcot and the Keys to the Kingdom tour at MK.

1. cost...how much per person?

2. length of tour?

3. What is included (areas, snacks, photos, etc...)

4. Are they worth the money?

Thanks in advance...y'all ROCK!!!

We have taken Keys to the Kingsdom, Undiscovered Future World, Hidden Treasures, Steam train one, Behind the Seeds, Backstage Magic.
If you can afford it, Backstage Magic.
Otherwise Keys, but they were all wonderful!

We are doing Backstage Magic again in Oct. and Keys to the Kingdom in Jan (with a friend).

AP gets you a discount also, if you have one.

I don't think you will be disappointed in any that you choose.

I inserted the info in your quote!

Keys to the Kingdom would be the first tour I would recommend. It's such a good value since it includes lunch.

We did the backstage magic tour in September and that was good too and included lunch at mama melrose.

We especially enjoyed Wild by Design (AK). It's similar to Keys, as it covers trival and secrets involving the building of the AK park. AK offers 2 tours, the other one is the backstage--which involved the care of the animals (we have not done this one).

We ALSO did EPCOT future world, and it was our least favorite one, but was OK.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, Disney VISA discriminates against Canadians... :sad2: I think it is a serious injustice!!!! :lmao:
