Appatently there are no guided tours for the next few days (or yesterday). They are relocating the tour area and will reopen Saturday. I tried to book a Walk in Walt's footsteps tour and was told to come by this morning (plenty of room) on the phone. I waited almost and hour and someone finally came out and flagged down some info and told me about this. I don't know where they are relocating to (or just changing the area - it was not updated), but the VIP tours were still going on today. Just in case anyone was trying to do the same....

Walt in Walt's Footsteps is the only tour that meets at the Tour Area, so perhaps that valuable space will be better utilized.
VIP Tours often start at the Grand Californian (valet parking is included), or can start anywhere the guest selects.

I tried to book a Walk in Walt's tour for today about a month ago and was told they weren't going, but the cast member on the phone didn't know why. I'm surprised they told you to go in person.

Yes, the kind Castmembers who finally helped me out were surprised too. It seemed whoever I spoke with did not have the right info. I even verified that there was room on the tour before I went over there to wait. I wasn't the only person looking for a tour this morning either.
