We are going on the British isles cruise in sept and am really into looking into tours now. We like to book through the cruise even though there more expensive we like the convenience. Anyways any tips. Nothing to strenuous since hubby has knee issues. Checking the tours in DCL website some say strenuous just how strenuous. Can he stay with the bus if it’s too much for him. So far we have the blanery castle anyone do any of these tours. Open to all suggestions and tips. Thanks

Are you coming to Wales?

Strenuous in Britain can mean stone steps, cobblestone streets. A visit to Edinburgh can mean steep hills. And some activities would be strenuous for fit people (leaving them out of breath, even if the joints can handle it).

Cork and the Blarney Stone - I just did a quick YouTube video check. One video was enough to see problems for some. Steps up to stand in line. And then getting down to lie on your back to kiss the stone. And then stand back up. I would not label it “strenuous,” but it would be a physical challenge for me.

I suggest you watch videos to see what you are getting into. Assess it based on how your bodies can handle it. They don’t have to be specifically Disney; if you can find the port stop as the focus, you might be able to determine what each stop offers that is doable for you.

Sometimes you can stay with the bus. Oftentimes, the bus goes to a parking area away from the small area where tours get dropped off. But there is often a pub nearby - he doesn’t have to drink beer, though.

Actually the port in Liverpool has a tour you can take to Wales. That tour sounds really nice. Thanks for the idea of you tube videos
