What types of "behind the scenes" tours/activites are at universal orlando? I see the horror makeup show and the bourne show. Would those be the closest thing to a behind the scenes movie tour that is somewhat educational?

You can, on occasion, do tours of some of the rides. Mummy, Velocicoaster, and Hulk are a few. I think maybe Hogwarts, Fallon, and F&F, too

They recently stopped doing the MIB tour.

At any of the rides that do tours, you have to ask a TM at the ride. If current conditions are right (ride isn’t too busy and there is enough staff to handle), they can give a tour. It’s very hot or miss.

We’ve asked maybe 5 or 6 times over the years and have only been successful once. We got the control room tour at Twister which was really cool.

But there’s nothing ‘educational’ in a traditional sense. Horror Makeup is a bit more ‘behind the scenes’ than Bourne is. Bit both are, at their core, shows.

Ok thanks! I guess I was thinking more like hollywood studio tours, something related to movie making but still an entertainment show.

Hollywood make-up is what you are looking for. I haven't seen the Bourne show but I've heard it's fantastic.
