Touringplans wait time realistic?

I've been entering my FP+ times into their personalized plans and seeing what plan it spills out. I've been getting some interesting wait times on my plans for rides without using FP, and wondering how much I can rely on them being accurate. I've been hearing that some of the "secondary" rides have had longer wait times with the new system, but the plans don't seem like they're reflecting that.

For example...
Wed, Aug 19 (granted, this is the lowest for crowds this week; a 4):
small world @ around 12:30.. 7 minutes
POTC @ around 5:15.. 11 minutes
Jungle Cruise @ around 5:40.. 15 minutes
Haunted Mansion @ around 6:15.. 11 minutes

What do you think? How much can this be trusted? TIA

I have been wondering the same thing. I haven't used it since FP+ was fully rolled out, but the times aren't exactly what I would have expected.

I know in the past if we went straight to Test Track or Soarin' there was no more than a few minutes' wait. Touringplans is telling me that we will have a 20+ minute wait right at park opening during the first week of September, which is probably one of the slowest weeks of the year. Yet mid afternoon many of the waits for what typically used to be less popular rides are under 5 minutes when I think they might be longer. :confused3

Hoping someone has some insight here; I'd like to use touring plans to create a plan for my September trip but I'm not sure how much I should trust their wait times :confused3 obviously they won't be exact, but how far off are they typically?

They sound reasonable to me. The one that makes me go hmmm is small world. That sounds like a peak time, but I'm not familiar with the pattern of that ride. I was there on May 31 and I think it was a level 7 that day at MK. We got there around 5 and rode small world first I think. It was a 10-15 minute wait. Pirates was about 20 minutes not long after that, and I had a fp for Jungle Cruise but the lines didn't look terrible there. Mansion we rode whenever it got dark, and it was about 10 minutes. So I would say the different in a 4 and a 7 would be enough. Their times do seem to be on the optimistic side, but I think they are pretty accurate. When I plan my times, I usually use Easy WDW as my "worst case" and the average of EWDW and TP as my gauge for what I reasonably expect to do.

They were dead on for the customized touring plan I made last October for a day at the Magic Kingdom and Epcot. FP+ was in effect then, but quite new. I was an offsite visitor, so didn't have access to that. // I renewed my subscription for our December trip (it's that week before Christmas week). // I even expanded my subscription to get their Universal add on -- doing one Universal / IOA day to see the Harry Potter stuff and a handful of other things.

I've been using their plans since 89, and IMHO do very well with WDW. I'll have to see how their predictions work at Universal / IOA. They haven't been doing these parks all that long.

I love what I'm seeing for my December week, so I like you are hoping that they are right on for this too. My previous experience makes me think that there is a pretty good chance that the predictions will be fairly accurate.

Thanks for your help. It sounds like they'll be pretty close. I'm setting up personalized plans and setting it up for relaxed walking speed just to be sure we have some wiggle room. I have a DD17 with low tone, so we have to watch our time in line. She doesn't need a wheelchair and I haven't looked into the new GAC program too much. What is it now.. DAC? If the times are what the plans are showing, I don't think we'll need it. Len was kind enough to PM me. The follow up was appreciated. :thumbsup2
