TouringPlans Room Requests

Has anyone used TouringPlans to request a specific room/building at POR? If so, did you get what you wanted? Just wondering if it's any more effective than sending a room request fax in yourself.

How they receive your requests has no bearing on whether they are granted or not.

I used Touring Plans fax request and did not get what I asked for.
The best way to request is to call in your request to the reservations line and have it noted there.

I used it twice....I didn't get the specific building I asked for either time, however they gave me the most similar room in the very next building and I was pleased with the locations.
