Seems like we have a little difference of opinion here and maybe we should just let it go at that. Thanks..

OPINION noun-from mirriam webster website:
a view, judgment, or appraisal formed in the mind about a particular matter b : APPROVAL, ESTEEM
2 a : belief stronger than impression and less strong than positive knowledge

differences of opinion are fine--misstatements of fact are not. My posts were made to correct the misstatement of factually verifiable information.

uhhhh.....I hate to break it to you, but if awatt says that it SEEMED to him that TGM was a cheerleader..... then he was stating a fact. He didn't say that TGM was a cheerleader. I know, I'm being a total nitpicker, but geez, let's give the guy some slack...

And in terms of TGM being condescending, maybe he was (sounded like it to me) maybe he wasn't. But no one needs to get defensive, he's still a great guy. Maybe he was just having a bad day.....

why would anyone pay anything for an intinerary or guide whenyou do not know wht you'll face in the park as crowds go, weather changes and most importantly how YOU feel that day.

COMMANDO vacations and play by play intineraries just seem to take alot of the magic and discovery out of a vacation especially WDW. I agree with an earlier post there is so much FREE information out here to give you a good idea of what to do and how to do it best. These boards alone are packed with more than enough information to see the majority of the major attractions without much worry.

I also would like to know how many people actually stay to the plans every step of the way? I remember when the Unofficial Guide first came out and I saw numerous groups of people with book in hand following each other around the park. It was quite humorous. WDW is big, but with a little planning and researchon the internet you should have the basics for a great vacation and save the money for gifts, souvies and FOOD.

Just one peron's opinion.

I agree. I personally find his writing style condescending sometimes ... in my opinion ...
All the cutesy faces ;>) and seeing my name over & over gets on my nerves after awhile... I know you're not really talking to me, so cut it out, okay Mike? Also, I saw a personal reply on his boards that made me think, wow, his patience is strained for someone disagreeing with him tonight... I know I feel that way sometimes too, but I don't charge people $20 to listen to me.

That said, the amount and quality of the information is truly outstanding, and I can't deny that this newbie learned plenty. I'll deal with the writing style to get the information that his site provides. I actually like the format and the organization of the info seems logical to me. (Again, my opinion...)

LOL! I take the smileys and my name seen on the site as TGM making the effort to make his customers feel comfortable. It's a different experience...such as The DIS. Everybody has different styles. I wouldn't take any of it personally.

ncbyrne is right.

This is not a thread to discuss TourGuideMike. Please get it back on topic.

Thanks! :)

awatt -
If you want to PM me, I'll share a similar experience I had - don't want to go into it here as clearly people think that the proverbial dead horse has been beaten.
