Touringplans.com and room requests?

I have set up a request on touringplans.com to send a room request on my behalf, has anyone done this and how did it work? did you get your request?

We got an alert about a week before reminding us that the fax would be sent, and then a confirmation I think 5 days before check in confirming that it was actually sent. We didn't get the exact room number (honestly, would not have even bothered requesting an exact number if the fax sheet hadn't been set up that way), but we got the building and floor we requested.

I used it for our stay in June. We did get Jamaica but we didn't get our building request. We got two buildings away from our request.

We got our exact request at BWV last April

We did not get our request at BCV. W requested 1st floor & got 4th (top) floor.

We used it for our trip in October and got the room next to the one we requested.

We used it for our Poly stay last July. We got exactly what we asked for.

Thank you to everyone for your comments, Ive given a floor and side of the building so hope I get the request. However its not the end of the world if we don't as we are going to disney yay xx
