We've decided to take a couple of days to do US and IOA on our upcoming trip to WDW. The MAJOR problem is that we'll be there the weekend AFTER Thanksgiving...UUUGH!!

We're not staying onsite so we now expect to spend the bulk of the time in line :( I was wondering if there was any tips to try and cut down on the time spent in line.

You could buy the express plus passes OR--depending on how many are in your party, it may cost less to get a room in one of the on-site hotels for one night which would give you TWO days of unlimited express access. My nephew does that when he goes to WDW and he doesn't stay at the room at Universal, but uses it as a "rest stop" during the day.

Thanks! There are actually 6 in our party so it may be worth it to stay at RPH instead of spending $$ on the Express Passes.

That weekend is one of the busiest at Universal. I would not go unless I had FOTL, express booklets, or a VIP tour. Seriously, many of the lines will be 90 minutes.

The only touring tip I can give you is to stay on site. FOTL simply cannot be beat. The resorts are wonderful and it makes it so easy being that close. You can get ent book discounts or if you buy an AP you can get a discount with that.
