My DW and I recently bought at SSR and have stayed once so far. During our stay we didn't have time to check out the other DVC resorts like I wanted to. I live here in Orlando so I am lucky in that I can go down to WDW just about any weekend. What I'm wondering is if we can drive down and check out the other DVC resorts around WDW just to see them and to get a feel for what each one is like? Does any one know if you can or do you need to be a staying at the resort or at least staying at another DVC resort to check them out?

You can go to any one of them and just walk around, or have lunch, and if there are models to tour just walk in and tell them you would like to take the tour. The BWV/BC area offer alot to do for a day visit, nothing is stopping you from walking in and around the resort. Enjoy!

The only models will probably be at SSR.

you can visit any one of the vacation club resorts. We also own @saratoga but were anxious to see old key west so we stopped in there @ the check in area & asked if we could see one of the rooms for future bookings. They were more than happy to show us all around the property & various rooms & were very gracious. Hence we enjoyed okw so much that we are returning there this sept. for our 2nd. time. Have fun the possibilites are endless. :cool1:

I've heard that non-DVC members are being offered FastPasses if they will do a tour of the DVC properties. Can current DVC members also get FastPasses, if they tour the new resorts? (We own only at a sold-out resort.)

You can view the common areas but room access is limited. You can see the AKL rooms on display at SSR. DVC members are welcome between 5-7 daily. The BWV have a model room on the Boardwalk down towards the Atlantic Dance Hall. Other resorts grant access depending what mood they are in. Have fun. :cool1:

I think room availability is the key and a DVC cast member who wants to help. Be nice and sincere and usually there is a way unless they are swamped.
