Has anyone ever toured the Disney Studios? We were gifted a tour and lunch there and I cannot wait to experience :cool1:. We will be traveling with our children who will be 10 and 7.

Any info? (without ruining any possible surprises please :) )

Thanks so much!!

I found it very cool to visit the Burbank studios, mainly because it's not all that open except for special arrangements, Adventures by Disney, etc.

If you know your Disney history you'll recognize some famous landmarks. The Legends plaza is also a highlight. I hope your tour will also let you see the animation building -- even if they don't let you inside, the outside alone is really great.

I thought lunch in the commissary was really good. Do you know where your lunch will be?

On the more mundane side, there is an aspect to visiting the studios that reminded me visiting any corporate offices. Some of what I saw reminded me of my own workplace.

There is a Disney Store on site, however, I found it to be not much different from a regular Disney store. They do sell Studios logo merchandise, so that's one difference.
