Hi Dis-friends! I know that no one has a crystal ball and obviously a ton of this is dependent on where things are with COVID ( and how disney decides to operate its parks), but assuming that:

1. It's still a park reservation system, with ability to hop later in the afternoon
2 There is still no FP
3. Rope drop for off-site guests does not exist (due to every park opening 30 minutes every day for on-site guests)
4. Capacity is increased

What are everyone's early thoughts on how to manage their trip? We are hoping to have 10 day passes, so we don't need to go at a rapid pace, but we do enjoy all of the headliners.

We can tolerate a wait of 60 minutes maybe 1 or 2x/day, but if that was the situation for everything all day, we may not want to go.

Any of your sage wisdom (and early guesses on how to plan if the situation is as above) are very much appreciated!

Are you looking at aug/sept or Oct/nov? I really think that will be the major difference. We don’t yet have 50th anniversary plans announced, other than we can probably speculate by Oct 1, some festivities will begin. Therefore, I would imagine parks will by lighter in September this year due to people wanting to wait for those celebrations. Coming after Oct 1, you’re probably going to experience higher crowds all around.

Good thought. We were thinking about mid November. Thanks for pointing that out!

Mid November could be a sweet spot. Far enough after the start of celebration, but before Thanksgiving and Christmas season getting underway. It may not as well, especially as more people start booking travel after they get vaccinated.

This will also hopefully be a time we see more shows, parades and fireworks return, which a lot of people are waiting on.
