Touring resorts at night??

Anyone had any experience with checking out the resorts in the evenings? We'd like to take the monorail around after dinner at CG and tour the lobbies. grounds etc. Will the staff be okay with this after dark?? Please advise.

The only resort we went to a night was Wilderness Lodge. We took a bus from Downtown Disney. This was a great resort to visit at night because it really gave you that woodsy cozy log cabin feel. We visited Grand Floridian and Animal Kingdom Lodge during the day which I think is better because obviously at AKL you want to see the animals in daylight and the interior of the resort is very dark. Grand Floridian has some beautiful views in the daytime of the Castle at the MK and the monorail. Hope this helps!

It's no problem to look around the resorts after dark. The MK and BW resorts are especially nice as you can see the parks all lit up etc. very pretty!

We tour the resort hotels at night to see the xmas decorarions.
so pretty.

You can tour the resorts anytime, day or night. No problem.

Absolutely you should tour the resorts...especially at night!
Poly, with its lit torches, new pool and Electric Water Pageant from the beach

Yacht & Beach, for its spectacular across-the-water view of the Boardwalk and its beautifully-lit pools

Boardwalk area, for its old-fashioned appeal with bulb lights strung garland-style; view of EPCOT

Dolphin & Swan's breathtaking architecture and theming

Contemporary's view of the "World" from its many vantage points

WL and GF were already discussed, but remember, ALL of the resorts are lit up at night to show them off to their best advantage, and are there for you and me to enjoy!
