Touring plans

You will get lots of advice from the DIS so this may be enough for all your trip planning needs.

Some prefer EasyWDW, whilst others are fans of Touring Plans.

I have always thought the subscription was worth it :)

The subscription cost is so small, it certainly can't hurt. :)

Exactly. I found that it worked pretty well for AK but MK it didn't to so well. That being said, I enjoyed playing around with it and would spend the $$ for it again.

With the high price of Disney tickets and Universal tickets, I think it's well worth it. It helps us decide what attractions we want to do in the timeframe we have, gives us opening and closing and parade / fireworks times, special event times without having to look elsewhere, notifies us of extra magic hours (means we avoid a park on that day, as we stay offsite, etc.) // I also like their ratings of attractions and ratings by age group of every attraction.

Playing around with my plan helps we get excited about my trip. Usually my 19 year son and I work on it together and both get excited together -- really fun.

I think it's worth it. I purchased WDW 3 times, DLR once, and Universal once. I have rarely had problems with the plans, including FP+.

If you are going when the parks are busy, and plan on sticking to a touring plan, then yes, a subscription is worth the small cost. If what you really want is to see which park is best to tour on what day, then Easy WDW will give you that and more, and it is a free web site.

We really thought the app was worth it. If just for the other members updating the app that a ride was down. That way you didn't waste time crossing the park to find out it was down. Also they would often update when it was back up and we would head straight there because often there would be no line.

Worth is relative, of course...but the cost for this is low as mentioned. We like it, use it. Like Dan said, the lines app is handy.

Also, if you bought the book (paper or ebook), Unofficial Guide to WDW, then you also get a discount.
