Hi,
Is there a link to touring plans? I've been to WDW dozens of times, and I know what to do first, how to get the important fast passes, etc. But since this is my first time (not really, but my first time was in 1979 as a kid, so I'm not counting it!) at DL, I feel like a fish out of water! Not sure what the tips are to getting the good fastpasses and what rides are musts.

It's just me and my hubby going, so we'd like to do a relaxing trip. If we see everything, great, if not, that's ok too. I know I'd like to ride the Matterhorn and the rides that aren't at WDW. I even want to ride the Storybook Canal because I loved it as a kid. And of course Pirates and Haunted Mansion, just to see the differences.

Having never been to DCA, I'm interested in that as well. I'm not a huge coaster person, so we'll have to see about that.

I posted earlier and got some dining tips already, so that was great.

Any place I can find touring links? or anyone have any advice?
TIA!

There is a program called Ridemax. You put in what you want to see, and it spits out a coustom plan based on crowd levels. It works for DL and WDW too. If you really want a good plan I would suggest using it.

Hydroguy, I was reading your post (very funny btw...I laughed out loud at your FP Nazi Dictator comment!) what does DLR mean?

DLR is the Disneyland Resort (which people here often use to refer primarily to Disneyland Park and Disney's California Adventure). Technically to tell people that you are going to "Disneyland" is not perfectly accurate, unless you're going to skip DCA entirely. :flower3: (Most of the people I tell I'm going to Disneyland aren't necessarily aware of the fact that there IS a second park, though, so I just say "Disneyland." :) )

DL- Disneyland Park
DCA- Disney's California Adventure Park
DTD- Downtown Disney

DLR- Disneyland Resort (encompasses DL, DCA, DTD, and all 3 onsite hotels)

Like the difference between MK and WDW.
