Touring Plans walk time ?

I am putting together an itinerary for some friends who will be going in early December on their very first trip. One of the people in the party will be done with chemo by then and she will rent a scooter; I wanted to give them walking distances from attraction to attraction as they will be going with 3 young children.

I find it hard to believe that from Akershus in Norway to Maelstrom is a 10 min walk. I can't remember as we didn't do this on our last trip but there is no way it could be that much...........Is it a glitch in TP?

I know some of the pavilions are spaced quite a bit apart.......TP is also saying it's an 8 min walk from Spaceship earth to Nemo, I say no way........can anyone help with this?

Akershus to Maelstrom is more like a 10-second walk.

Maximum of 5 minutes from SSE to The Seas.

They allow you to select your pace. Is your's set for average or relaxed?

it was set on average.

edited to add: just for the hell of it, I changed it to "relaxed" and then also to "fast" it said 10 min...........so i guess it doesn't matter how fast or slow you walk, it will still take you 10 min.

Im sure you have seen the map, but it is maybe 100 feet door to door.

It could be an 8 minute walk from SSE to Nemo since you can't take a direct route. I think you have to walk around Innovations.

For some odd reason, touring plans always give 10 mins to dining, and 10mins from dining establishments. Just adjust your meal time to accommodate the 20min add on.
