Are you just looking for what parks to go to on what days or when to plan your trip? Easy WDW is really good for that. Usually when we've traveled with recommendations from both on that front the recommendations have been pretty similar. Most people when the two differ say Easy WDW is more accurate. I've only looked at Easy WDW twice and in both instances the recommendations for what would be a good day to visit the park I wanted to visit were almost identical. What's nice about Easy WDW is that they give you the reasons behind the recommendations. It's a very respected site.
I like touring plans for the detailed ride descriptions and ratings (helps me decide what attractions I want to hit) and the great touring plans, ability to customize my plan, and use their optimization software to come up with a plan that saves me time waiting in lines. We start with the adult highlights touring plans and then make a few subtractions and add Animation Academy at DHS (only item that is not on the adult highlights plan we like to do). If you have limited time in the parks and aren't sure which attractions to hit, I have to say I think their recommendations are really good. I also like their tips regarding where to go to watch parades and fireworks, menu links, and little maps with step by step plans. I'm a big fan who first go their book back in the 80s and has been getting the online subscription for every trip I do for the last 10 years. The $15 or so for me is well worth it to maximize my enjoyment of a WDW park even if I am going just one day a year (which by the way is usually the case for me). With spending almost $100 a day per person, I want to have a great experience and find touring plans really helps with that. // A plan is more important IMHO if you are traveling high season on a crowded day than if you are going on a day that's not as crowded. // From what I'm reading, though, it seems WDW doesn't have that much of an off season anymore. Still though when school is out parks are even more crowded, so minimizing that time waiting in line for me at least is huge, and at busy times especially the comparison of doing the parks without a plan vs. with a plan were night and day, so much for fun for us with the plan.
