I'm going to WDW with DH and DS (15 months) in May. I've been there a bunch of times, but I've never used a "touring plan". I have the Unofficial Guide and I signed up for Tour Guide Mike's website. I'm trying to decide which one I like better. I figured some people here probebly have experience with both, so what do you recommend? Which plan have you had success with? Any other suggestions? (oh yeah, I ordered a Passporter, too, but I didn't get it yet!)

Sounds like your well on your way! I got a Passporter last year and loved it. However I did not update it this year, instead I suscribed to Tour Guide Mike. I have never bought the unofficial guide, but I did subscribe to thier online website last year. Touringplans.com has a lot of free stuff you can use and for like 6 bucks you can sign up for a year to use their touring plans. We never did use exactly what they said, but it was only $6. I thought it was too much criss crossing. We are also going in May, so I can't say which is better as far as advice goes. But almost EVERYONE says that they loved TGM and that he was right on with his best days predictions. So I am feeling confident, even though we are going over Memorial Day that we will have a great time and not wait in lines. :cool1: Be sure to join your May Vacation Club private forum at TGM!!!

I have not used Touring Plans, but I'm at WDW right now and using Tour Guide Mike's touring plans. Wow!! Works great! I've also been many, many times and I thought I knew it all, but boy, it just seemed like we were there before the crowds got there and we stayed ahead of them every step of the way. We got a ton of stuff done by 1:30 and the longest wait was 5 minutes (touringplans.com gave this day a 6) and that was in the Fast Pass lane at Space Mountain at 12:30. We rode Pooh, Peter Pan, Snow White, Small World, BTMR, Splash Mountain, POTC, Tiki Birds, (ate lunch), Haunted Mansion, Space Mtn (with FP), Tomorrowland Transit Authority, Carousel of Progress and Stitch from 9-1:30. I'm very impressed with TGM's advice!! We'll go back tonight and hit other rides after our afternoon break!!
