Touring plans question

We got a free subscription to touring plans from our travel agent. Do you usually try to make a touring plan before or after you make your FP reservations? I'm struggling to get it laid all out before making my FP choices.

You can customize your touring plan and then it will rank out what you should get for your FP+ reservations based on estimated wait time. I personally used touring plans for the first time on my trip last week and was not a fan. If you're a veteran of the parks you can probably better know how to organize your touring plans.

I would do it before to get an idea of what you should get fp for. Then you can edit after if you want. As always remember it is a guide and don't expect to completely follow it when there just do what you want or what comes up a bit too!

I do it first just to get an idea of what they are suggesting for fastpasses, then I move things around to eliminate backtracking or extra walking. After I get the fastpasses I try it with optimizer and see if I like it. I like being able to move things around. I would be able to plan without it but I find it nice to have all in one app on my phone that I didn't have to create a list or spreadsheet for.

I personally am a big touring plans fan. I'm an organized Disney planner and love the flexibility/customization the site gives.

Thanks. I should probably wait until I can do my FP+. Then it will make more sense (and stop telling me I can do EE before an 8:30 TH breakfast.)
