I dont think you can on touring plans...FWIW ....It is extremely hard to do 2 parks in one day..if you are willing to skip alot and focus only on certain things, if you stay onsite and have express pass and if you go when the parks are open a little later ( summer) ..MAYBE...but it is not recommended.it is like trying to squeeze MK and DHS into one day .
We'll be leaving twice for lunch at City Walk restaurants and taking the Harry Potter train from one park to the other. Since we have the hopper option I thought it might make sense to jump around from morning to afternoon depending on line times at different attractions.

Are you staying on site? If so, there is NO need at all to plan your days. When we visited for our first time last fall, we spent three full days at the parks and always spent half a day at IoA, then half a day at Universal. It was great fun!

Ah.......ok, your OP made it look like you were wanting to do them both in one day
We do both. Some days we just do one park, other days we park hop if we feel like it......we never plan anything.
If you are staying on site you will have unlimited EP for your trip, that makes it much easier.
If you are not staying on site, when you go will depend on how much you get done unless you buy the EP. With DA opening in June it's going to be busy busy!
