Touring Plans: How accurate are Crowd Predictions??

When you read the book or get on their site, they specifically say that choosing a good touring plan is way more important than choosing the "right day". So even with high crowds, you can avoid a lot of the wait times by creating a plan. I have used them on all my trips and love it. Plus, it satisfies my planning obsession.
