I am planning an October trip to Disney. I am one of the many people who will be trying to get an A&E fastpass for my two daughters. I was looking at the forecast of wait times on TP for A&E on the day we will be in MK. It estimates that at 4:00pm the wait will only be 54 minutes. Can this possibly be close to accurate? The day we are going is a MNSSHP party day so it should be low crowds, but I can't imagine A&E standby being that low of a wait time. Thoughts?

Anyone? I've looked at Josh's book and his estimate for standby wait for Anna & Elsa on a party day is two hours. I'm just trying to decide what to do if we can't get a Fastpass. Either wait in line or just skip it altogether.

It sounds like a solid guess. The wait times have dipped to 90 to 120 minutes since A&E's hours were extended. We haven't experienced a party day with them yet, but party days do tend to be really low-crowd days.

TP may be respected for their predictions of ride wait times, but I think they are not very good at predicting the wait times of M&Gs. They have always focused their efforts on rides, and in my opinion only recently started looking seriously at the few M&Gs with ride-like queue systems.

Thanks! My plan is still to try and get the fastpasses by constantly checking for availability. If I can't get one, I might just see how our park day is going and get in line early evening if the waits look reasonable. I'm definitely not going to waste rope drop on A&E. I thought 54 minutes looked too good to be true as well, but maybe the waits will be manageable (under 2 hrs.?) on a party day if we go close to closing. Would we just need to be in line before 7pm or do they shut down the queue earlier?

I can't speak to their prediction, but I can tell you that they monitor the wait time with the Lines App. Use it in conjunction with your TP subscription. Take a look every day at the time it is telling you to go, and you can see what the predicted and posted wait times are. I have been monitoring for awhile, and the wait time consistently is in the 70-100 minute range. I would plan for 2 hours to be safe, but since you are going at a slower time, it doesn't seem unreasonable to expect more like 60.
