I swear by Tour Guide Mike for the Disney parks. Does anyone have touring plans for Universal? I think I remember there being touring plans in the back of my old "Unofficial Guide." I assume that a plan would be wise, even with FOTL.

Sure there's a tour plan! What we did when we went in July-August this year was this:

BTW, we stayed at RPR, so we had FOTL.

IoA:
Started in Marvel SuperHero Island. Did: Hulk, Spidey, Dr.Doom
Then to Toon Lagoon. Did: Popeye, Dudley Do-Right
Jurassic Park: River Adventure (so that way, we had all the water rides out of the way)
Lost Continent: DD, Flying Unicorn
Suess Landing: Caro-suess-El, High in the Sky Trolley, Cat in the Hat

Now, we didn't do this EVERY day in the same order, but it's what I would suggest. Wait times should be no longer than 5-15 minutes, 20 minutes tops.

For USO:
Start with Shrek 4-D
Then ROTM
Earthquake: The Big One
Jaws
BeetleJuice's Graveyard Revue
MIB
E.T.
Animal Actors Show
Horror Make-Up Show
T-2: Battle Across Time
Twister: Ride it Out
Jimmy Neutron
Double back and do any that you missed or want to do again. Same deal with IoA. Take a break if you need to, especially if you have the 7-day 2-park ticket. This allows you to enter, leave, and re-enter the parks as many times during the day as you like. :yay:
If you can't do the big rides such as Hulk or DD, then you can skip those. At least go and take a look, they're really interesting! Also, check out the top of Me Ship, the Olive. There are amazing views from the top of Marvel Island, Suess Landing, and Lost Continent.

Hope this helps! :cheer2:

You dont need a touring guide, or a schedule, or anything like that......you think this is disney? Relax....its a vacation.
It goes like this:
Do IOA first. Marvel Superhero Island first. Why? It gets busiest the fastest and stays that way.
Then walk in a giant circle around the park, ending in Seuss Landing.
Then do the same thing at USF, starting with Shrek and ending with T2.
Get there early, do things earlier than everyone else i.e. lunch, snacks etc.
Thats it....its that simple.
