Touring BOG without eating there?

OMG--I booked a dinner reservation early this morning. Just had a feeling I should check at 6am, wheeeeeeeee! Still going to try for a lunch reservation, but at least we are in the door! Thanks to everyone for your comments, especially the advice to keep checking back.

It looks like the days of the "Sneak Peek" of BOG are coming to an end with the Breakfast "test" starting Friday.

Do cancellations open up in the ADR system in real time (or close to) or do they update on the hour or something like that? If I knew to check at the top of the hour it would make life easier. Thanks for the advice! --Liz

Not certain openings for dinner but we've had a lot of luck with lunch reservations the past trips and our next upcoming one. Have you checked lunch vs dinner? We really enjoyed our meal there for lunch last time we went.

Ended up cancelling the dinner res after securing a lunch res which worked better with our touring plan. It was wonderful and very worth all the trouble I went to to get the reservation. We almost missed it due to snow at home though! At the last minute we took a flight out a day early beating the snow in DC which cancelled all flights that day. Whew!

Thanks for all the advice, hope it ends up being helpful for others as well.
