I just signed up for this service. How many of you out there have used it and what are you opinions?

let me know how this works. I seen this website as well but am wondering if it is worth $21.00

I love it!!!! I use it for my Christmas week trip last year and the advice was right on the money! No lines for us despite HUGE crowds. :cool1: I wouldn't dream of going at a busy time without it now. I got a new subscription for free from my travel agent for this next trip but had they not offered it free I would have gladly paid for it!

folishmortal, if you look at disneydollarless.com on the left hand side of the page near the bottom there is a TGM ad. Click on it and they have a code for $3 off. it's not much bet it's a Mickey Bar, right? ;)

When you consider what you pay for a Disney vacation and the fact that $18.99 is less than the cost of a counter service meal for a family, it's well worth the money to avoid the crowds. He has great advice on parade and fireworks viewing too.

So far, his advice seems sound ... but the web site can be a confusing maze.

I'm heartened that his "best days" advice seems to click with the UG website's advice. And it's updated frequently, so you do have a sense that it's current.

And I agree with a previous poster: considering what you spend for a WDW vacation anyway, it's a modest investment -- and probably more worthwhile in the long run than buying a guidebook that will be out of date soon after it's printed.

I used him last dec. I went during xmas. I used the advice on what times to go, what days to go and aslo what time is best to make PS. He was right on the money. We didn't hit any lines at all. And this was Xmas week. I am using him agn for my Oct. trip.

I am using this site for my Oct. trip...thought I knew everything but am learning some new bits of information!!

I'm using TGM for my upcomming trip over July 4th. He posts updates very regularly...I check several times a week ( I'm obsessed with WDW)...on my way to the disboards. I really like the planning advice- very specific for the summer "crowd". I give him an A+!!!!!!!!!

Very good. There is a lot of good information on crowds, touring plan recommendations, best days of the week, how to get things you want. You can set reminders for all sorts of things.

The advantage over a guide book is the ability to change the information as changes happen at Disney.

I agree with everyone else. I love the site- well worth the few dollars I paid. it updates all the time- I love it!

It's great. I use it for planning and love thie idea that it is updated often :sunny:

We used it for this past trip and everyone n my party was very skeptical  His advice was right on and we had very minimal wait times !! :Pinkbounc We will be renewing our subscription here shortly for our next trips !

Another thumbs up for Mike! :flower:

We used him for the first time last July, right after the 4th. Had an awesome time. We signed up again for our trip in August & December.

LOVE TGM!! :lovestruc His service paid for itself the first night we were there. We saved so much time and effort using his tips. Well worth the money.

My parents came with us (me, DH, DD4 and DS2) for the first 3 days of our April 24-30 trip. They were incredibly skeptical of my TGM plans and made fun of me nonstop about all my planning. They shut up quickly and even apologized after our first morning in the parks. By 11:30 we were eating lunch after experiencing all the Fantasyland rides, meeting Ariel, riding Goofy's Barnstormer twice and meeting the princesses in Toontown. When we went back to Fantasyland around noon for our Mickey's Philharmagic Fastpass, the line for Small World was 60 minutes! Thanks to TGM we had virtually no waits at any of the four parks the entire 6 days we were there and the "official" UG crowd counts for that week were 6-8. I will never do Disney without TGM again!!!!

This is our third time using it and we love it. Has definitely helped. Went in May and had a great time though was crowded!

I have subscribed to TGM and so far his plans look great. I am using it to plan for my Christmas trip and am finding it really helpful. At first the website seemed a little confusing but that was because there is so much information to take in. Now I find it easy to follow and would recommend it to anyone.

Another big thumbs up to Tour Guide Mike! I'm a huge skeptic too, but the first time we used his advice we were hooked. We couldn't believe that we were spending so little times in lines, even during the high season. It just made the trip SOOOO much more enjoyable.

While the site contains a huge amount of information, I think his goal is to have you understand the WHY of what he's recommending, which I love. That way if you do decide to deviate, you'll know the impact of what you're doing and be able to come up with a new strategy on the fly.

We've used him twice now and are using him again this summer. We wouldn't do Disney World without him!

The good thing about him is that he's in the parks every single day giving
tours, so you get constant updates about crowds, changes, etc.

If you're reading this thread and considering using him, if you go to his Automated Vacation Planner (AVP) Preview Tour at
http://tourguidemike.com/tour/index.asp, you can type "HE7KD-8GA" in the
Promotional Code section of the purchase page. You'll save $3 off the normal
purchase price of $21.95! :cool1:

Well all the good replies I read of TGM and that code just talked me into using him. I hope I will be just as happy as everyone else it.
