Who is this person or website? I understand he is offering information on park stratagies and such. Can anyone tell me where to find out more about him?

These boards are better and FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I LOVE the Dis boards and have gotten the best info on here. HOWEVER, I also LOVE tourguide mike's site. I have learned some good tips and he answers questions on his forum boards. It has been a good addition to the info I have learned on here.

MIke is like a living UNOFFICIAL GUIDEBOOK--his site provides the sort of info you might gfind in a very detailed WDW guidebook but with mway more pictures, hints and UP TO THE MINUTE INFO and advice....rather than buy a book I would recommend his site as the best place to prepare especially for very busy times of year...

I totally agree!! Forget buying a book that is already out of date. Tourguidemike updates his info as soon as changes happen. He takes tour groups out and knows first hand what is going on in the parks NOW and reporting back. Not for next years addition. :cheer2: :cheer2:

We subscribed to TGM for our Christmas trip. We utilized TGM's suggested parks each day and followed his touring plans.

I can tell you that we never spent more than 10 minutes in line at any ride, and we never found a park to be overwhelmingly busy.

As soon as we set our dates for our next trip, I will be resubscribing.

I also don't plan to buy any more guidebooks. If I need something specific, I'll borrow from the library, but I feel that TGM is worth more than any published guidebook.

Tour Guide Mike's info is great and his site is well worth the price! Some would argue that the boards are better, but don't forget that you have to search through huge volumes of information to get what you're looking for, and that info on the boards may not always be as reliable as the information you can get from Mike (not to say there aren't a lot of very knowledgable WDW vets here, but you never can be sure).

I've renewed more than once, and it's been worth every penny!

I used TGM last Christmas and New Years. His advice was great. Even WDW vets can learn a thing or two from TGM!

TGM is the best! I like The Dis and these forums, allearsnet, mousesavers (you name it) also, but I have found the advice that Mike gives invaluable. I have probably been to WDW close to 20 times, I've stayed on-site & off-site, I've read the UOG, Disney with Kids, and several other guidebooks, I've been there as a child and as an adult, I've been there with and without kids. I still pay the membership fee to subscribe to TGM because his advice is so awesome and his philosophy is closely aligned with mine. I couldn't recommend TourGuideMike highly enough!

I am soooo going to sign up for TGM help. :cool1:

Thanks for all the great advice from all of you. I am going to book PS's in a week or so and I want to book them according, of course, to which parks I'm going to be in. I don't necessarily care about extra magic hours and such, I just want to make the most out of each visit to each park. If that means visiting a park on a day that EMH is not offered then great...let's go. :Pinkbounc

This is the information that I have not been able to find on these boards, a plan of action once you're in the park.

Thanks again,

I LOVE the TGM site - it was a lifesaver for our trip in Aug 2003 and I've reupped with him for the next trip. He not only gives up to the minute advice, he is in the parks often cause he is touring with his clients. He oftens answers questions directly on the forums at his website too and you can tell he spends a lot of time working on that website keeping the info up to date. He also was nice enough to answer an email back in 2003 for our last trip about a topic he didn't have up yet on his site (using our stroller as a wheelchair). His advice on that was alone worth the money to me and made the difference in our trip. My DH loved his buzz lightyear tips too.

He doesn't send you marching around the parks like a crazy person running from ride to ride. If you get "off-schedule" with some of the touring plans it is awful but with his info it is easy to get back on track and make the most of whatever time you have in the parks (I have 2 young children so we were often getting side-tracked). If I could only visit one website on WDW I'm afraid it would be his - and this would be a close 2nd of course - but he has tips there I've never read here.

Enjoy!
