Wow, when I couldn't get into TGM a couple of days ago, I didn't think anything much of it. But, then I couldn't get in last night, or tonight......this is not a great way to run a business. I feel really sorry for all of you September folks that are at your 180 day ADR window right now.

I think....cancel that, I know that I would be asking for some sort of compensation right about now. Maggie

Mike didn't DO this. He was hijacked in a very cruel and unfortunate manner. And those of us that know his value don't hold this event against him. I don't need to run up for a refund every single time something "happens". I weigh it carefully in light of what's most beneficial and worth the effort of "making a point". If anyone feels it's in their best interest to get a refund, he'll gladly do so. If I was asking for a refund from him? I'd hope I was doing so because it was truly valid in that I wasn't able to use the product in the time and manner in which it was intended, not out of anger or to stick it back to Mike.

Not that I'm saying anyone is or would, sticking it back to Mike, just saying it because I've been thinking it all night.

The first few pages of this thread were of the nasty how dare he have the site down variety. It's a small business, he's doing his best, and no it's not ideal. If you want a refund, get one. But no need to keep bashing him.

Seriously, I work for a much bigger company for tech support, no less. And much more frequently we've had service outages. Which means internet, email, and phones for us. It's not ideal. We try to fix it ASAP and avoid it. But **** happens.

We move on. If the client think it's that big of a deal, they can leave. They have choices.

But two days in the scheme of a trip you plan for months is not the end of the world.

Mary I'm with you on this one. We put up the May calendar yesterday at work. And I got to block out my days! My co-worker said he only had 8 days til his vacation. And I was like, I have 60. No wait 59, or is it 58? I really didn't know. It will be nice to see the count down again. After this week, it's what's keeping me going

Plus, while it is our life (ok, sanity), it is Mike's lifeblood. I don't think he was sitting there eating bon-bons and watching Pirates. Remember, not only was his TGM site down, but his Michael's VIP site. That's both of his sources of income, folks. not something he would be while it was happening.

Now, as for compensation, since we haven't seen Zemo or GrammaBarb over here, I think that Mike should issue us all our own personal horsey floats. Who's with me?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Come on, you know you want to. Sides, with a horseyfloat, you can have lapu-lapus in the pool, look at Mikes photo. Oh wait, you can't cause of the mean poop-head that took the site away.

Thanks, I'll take the frozen ones. Have you ever put them in brownies? Seriously, regular ol' brownie mix. Put 1/2 in the pan, put the Thin Mints in the pan, put the rest of the mix on top and bake. MMMMMMMMMMM.

I miss TGM a lot tonight. I really wanted to do some planning. I guess it wasn't as easily fixed as TGM thought. I hope that doesn't mean it is worse than he thought?

Keith! You left me at work! Not nice. Now, as I told Keith today as we were comforting each other via email....I think that the site was brought down by either one of our employers or spouses. Imagine, they wanted us to spend time with them instead of "planning" the vacations.

I buy that. I've gotten more work done in the last 2 days than I've done in the 2 months since I've joined TGM! The problem is, it's been all the busy stuff that I can pretend to do when really playing online. So, now that it;s done, i've got to come up with new stuff to make me look busy enough to justify geting a salary!

Of course you can use it. I changed it when I signed up, so you will have to wait for Brad or Keith to teach you how to change it now.

Mike has had a rough couple of months. On the upside, with our show of support, it has to get better. Or else, we will just have to all meet him when we are out there and buy him a GGLS! That many would be sure to make him feel no pain.
