I had a proud disney mama moment today . . .
Took Clara, newly four, to get glasses - she's got a lazy on a sunday afternoon kind of thing going on - no patch, just cool shades . . . . she's psyched - her friend sarah recently acquired a chic pair of jasmine glasses . . .
We walk into the little shop part - somewhat scary lady [a little like mike myers as his mother in law savvy?] asks her what she'd like.
"Pink pwinthess glathes please"
Ok, come look at these . . .
They try on several pair, for size . . . scary lady announces that the right ones [blue] come in pink and she thinks she has a set in the back and disappears
Clara is admiring herself in the mirror with the blue and repeating that they will be pink right?
Out comes scary lady - with pink frames to try on.
Clara admires self in perfectly pink
Lady tells her they even have little shells on the corners, because they're 'ariel' glasses
Clara whips them off and glares at her:
NO. Pink is for aurora. these are aurora glatheth!
You go girl
scary lady retreats to her corner and bell dings
