An solos ever use Toue Guide Mike? I'm considering it for my Sept trip. Even though I've been quite a few times, I wonder if he could make it even better for me. Opinions? Thanks.

I have never been on a solo trip, but TourGuideMike has been very helpful on my last two trips. He has some nice tips and tricks that really helped us get more out of our trip.

Thanks, Maybe I'll give him a try. Doesn't cost much.

I used Tour GuideMike on my last solo trip in Sept/Oct and I thought it was great. I just recently re-joined for my next solo trip as well. Make sure to use the $3 off discount code (A82E8-2AH) as well.

TGM readily offers full refunds. No explanation required, ask for a refund and you will receive it. The implications of this policy really should make any debate on this subject moot. Since there is absolutely no financial risk in trying TGM for yourself, the only thing you risk losing is the time it will take you to look around TGM once you have signed up. If it's not for you, get your money back. It’s a pretty simple concept folks.

Some people like TGM, some don't. I have no idea which group you will fall into. And neither do you, at least until you give it a try yourself. And since we've already established that there is no risk in giving Tour Guide Mike a try, that’s exactly what you should do. Make up your own mind.

Ditto to most comments shown above. I thought that with this board and a few others I belong to I'd have the entire Disney thing down to a pat. I didn't. Mike's stuff has me looking at things differently, and enjoying more. (And the money-back guarantee wasn't a bad enitcement either). I've already gotten enough info from his site to fill a binder, and I'm not even close to all he has to offer!

Me! I just went on my first solo trip and used TGM and just had the best trip ever! As others have mentioned, there is absolutely no risk to you to at least try it out and see what you think. :tigger:

I used TGM for our last family vacation to WDW in June 2005. I found that there was a LOT of information, so it takes some time to get it all in your head. I did take some notes and print out some stuff, being careful not to leak it publicly.

What I found most helpful was his viewpoint on touring the parks, when, where, how... I also liked the ability to get reviews on just about anything I needed. The forums there are good too. Lots of hot tips.

even though i have been going regularly to wdw since 1993, i bought the TGM for my sept/oct trip last year.

i knew all of what he suggested. when to tour, what to avoid, which park to go to , that type of stuff. mike guides his readers to all aspects that will enhance their trip. he trys to help you avoid crowds, long waits and his opinion of best and worse/things to avoid at the parks and resturants.

what interested me was the annoucements i would read about prior to my trip. any changes made to ee or emh he would list. those type of tidbits were beneficial to my planning since i go solo.

also, the message boards he has are directed completely to the users and their questions about the parks/hotels etc. i liked hearing about their opinions.

i am going solo again to wdw this sept/oct and plan to resubscribe to tgm.

if you are a newbie, it is worth it.
if you are an expert, you wil get another slant on the world.

either way, it is enjoyable.

Thanks to all for your advice. I signed up and am very impressed with all the available information. I am not a newbie, but can always improve the way I do things. Since I'm not going until September, I have lots of time to dream over all the info. :surfweb:

I also signed up. I had contemplated signing up previously, but hesitated because I already had so much info from other sources. Haven't had much of chance to explore everything yet, but it looks pretty nice so far and we are not going until Sept so I have lots of time!

I've used TourGuideMike on several trips - both with people and on solo trips. It was a BIG help and I never waited in line for any rides if I followed the info in my TGM. Have four more trips planned this year, 3 of them solo, and I plan on subscribing to TGM for all of them.

Cheers!
