Tour Guide Mike - Totally confused, please help!

Hey everyone....

Thanks for the help, I'm still pretty confused with navigating TGM's website. I consider myself computer savy, yet I just can't seem to navigate his site.

I hate to say it, but I have to agree with the person who said Mike should try to make the site easier to look through. I STILL can't find the least crowded parks for each day during my stay.

I'm going to keep at it and give it some more time, but if I continue to have problems, I will unfortunately have to ask for a refund.

You're going in December, right?

Send me a PM on the website and I'll try to guide you. That should be very easy to find.

I'm Nutz_For_WDW on TGM.

After hearing many people rant and rave about how great Tour Guide Mike's services are, I decided to sign up for his service. I'll be traveling during a super crazy time of year (Dec 25th - 30th) and I figured I could use the help in planning.

I've been to Disney many times before and we were just there in February so I don't need to know "first timer info" like what each park is about, what rides there are, etc.

I thought TGM was a program that would help me build my own itinerary, give me tips on what the best days/times are for certain parks, and help me figure out what rides are best to go to first, show times, etc.

It seems like every time I click on something where I think I can build an itinerary, I get directed to yet ANOTHER article!! Can someone please help me? This seems more confusing than I'd hoped it would be and I'm not sure if I should have signed up. :sad2:

Thanks!!
You've pretty much summed up the problem with the way TGM promotes himself. It's not an automated planner in any way shape or form. It is a confusing mishmash of articles (some good, some pure fluff).

IMO, TGM is vastly overrated.

You have to realize, TGM is a site that gives you information so you can build your OWN itinerary. It does NOT, in any way, shape, or form, build an itiinerary FOR you. But you do get tips on best days and things like that, once you find them . . . . :stir:

Many others disagree, but I think his advertising is a bit misleading in that regard. He DOES have tons of information, his site IS worth the money in my opinion (but then, I'm an information/planning junkie  ), but I wish he would drop that "automated" stuff. I think many people have been misled by that.

There IS a program out there that will let you say "I want to go to these ten rides" and then spit out an itinerary. With TGM as a sponsor, though, I don't think I'm allowed to link to it. And frankly, I think TGM (and the Unofficial Guide) are a better value.
