I would say that to me, the main difference between TGM and the UG is the general "feel" of the plan. TGM stresses the relaxation and fun aspect of WDW- he wants you to have a good time, and not kill yourself running here and there.THpoohbear said:How does TGM compare with the touring plans of the Unoffical Guide? Anyone know? Are they similar or completely different? I'm tempted to buy TGM, but I don't want it to be the same stuff. Unoffical's stuff seems very reliable (touringplans.com). Thanks!![]()
The UG, to me, seems more like a guide for "commando" touring. It sets a much more frantic pace- also, it seems to really make you backtrack through the parks a lot- lots of zigging and zagging all over the place to hit the attractions at exactly the "right" time.
I have found TGM's site to be worth every penny- like a lot of other posters say, just the advice of which parks to visit which days is practically worth the cost of subscribing.
