We just spent a lovely weekend at AllStar movies with several thousand of our closest South American friends. At least 2 busloads were in line waiting to go to the Studios yesterday. From what we could tell the were in all sections of the resort (we walked around to explore) as there were always groups sitting out front waiting.

To avoid them on-site, stay in the moderate or deluxe resorts.

We had a vacation a few years ago in which our boys wanted to stay at ASMo. They loved the resort, but easily half of the people there were from Brazil. We had a lot of fun with them, so no problems to report, but they are there to have fun, so you have to see it for what it is and go with it. Like the cheerleader crowds - lots of noise.

Also have to think about time of year. They are on summer break - kids out of school right now.

Tour groups have also been found at some of the mods, so if your goal is to avoid them at the resorts, you would need to look at staying at a deluxe. I prefer a resort that isn't overrun by noisy adolescents with little or no effective supervision. Trying to cope with them in the parks is bad enough. However, we no longer go to WDW in Jan. and wouldn't travel there in July (their other prime visit in month) either.
