Tour Groups from Brazil Watch....

They were there the week of June 9th, with that blasted whistle and the dangerous flag pole.

I thought they were more likely to be at WDW in the fall. We don't generally go over the summer months and I recall seeing them last year. Just wondering.

Saw just such a tour group in January. Older teen girls were pushing little kids out of the way at the Epcot Kidcot stations. Why do older teens care about coloring? :confused3

That was my one and only experience with them...

The Europeans are saying the same thing about the loud, obnoxious US tourists descending on them this summer. As someone who travels extensively throughout the year, believe me US tourists are the worst. They seem to think the entire world should adapt to their way of doing and thinking
Personally, find this question a bit offensive and narrow minded.
Almost as bad as the post that only wans CMs in world showcase pavillions who fit the "sterotypical" physical look of the host country.

If you are referring to the post that I think you are, you are misquoting the OP. As I recall, the poster was unhappy that a non-English-as-first-language-speaking person was manning the Kidcot station at the American pavilion. The complaint was that even though the child's names were repeated several times, they still ended up being misspelled because the CM was so unfamiliar with English and American names. Justifiably so, IMO.

You are right about the OP, but further along someone else said they would have a hard time explaining an Asian looking person who may be a native of Germnay working in the German pavillion to their child and wanted them to look like they should to avoid confusion.

Ah, okay. Guess I quit reading before that post was made. :)

Reminder to all : That thread about Kidcot was closed. Reopening the discussion in THIS thread.. not cool.

Also - Bashing ANY nationality = not cool.

Brazilian Tour Groups most likely to be seen in December/January and June/July.

We saw one very well behaved group while we were there a couple weeks ago, but that was it. :)

This post brought back memories for me! Haha, I was a full-time MK CM and boy did we have a time with the Brazilians. Haha. Thanks for posting, it made me laugh :rotfl:

I saw several when we were there last week. It has nothing to do with their nationality it has to do with their size and how they like to stand in the middle of Main street blocking everything. You know, like us Americans do but in smaller groups.:)

Saw several last week but had no problems. I just marvelled at how large the groups were! And they all stayed together!

Of course they stay together - if they wander the guide with the blasted whistle starts blowing it  and then he waves the long flag pole around. Hopefully he never stumbles or trips with that long pole, because many people would get hurt by it. I'm amazed security lets them in with those poles!
