So I started another thread about "Is This Allowed" because family members used an unofficial tour guide. I honestly had no idea that these tour companies worked the way that they claim to. I was looking through the website of the tour company mentioned in the other thread. In the reviews the people mention that tour guides stand in line for you? Like they stand there for 90 minutes while you do other things? How in the world does this work?

Sounds that these "tour guides" expect their clients to line jump. Charming.

people can and do many unethical things. All these tour companies are doing is using their knowledge of the parks and the loopholes for their own financial gain. I'm not saying I agree with what they do, but for those who run and work for these types of companies its an easy way to make money.

I'm sure many locals with AP do this and not just in Florida.

I don't see anything wrong with being paid to guide visitors through the parks and imparting my knowledge to them. I'd actually love to design tour plans for people and make their ADRs and FP+, much like a travel agent does. What I don't agree with is making promises, even semi-promises, for things that either cannot happen or are unethical, like standing in line for visitors and expecting them to line jump or spur of the moment ADRs for BOG. Sure you might get lucky with a last minute ADR for BOG, but I'd think the odds wouldn't be very good.
