I dunno.
When we invaded Iraq, the international community called on the coalition not to meddle in another country's business. The coalition responded by telling the international community not to meddle in it's affairs.
Now that Iran is developing nuclear technology, the USA has called for a complete halt to it's proceedings. The UN is hoping to reach a deal, as is the EU.
Iran has responded, just as we have, by telling everybody not to mess in it's affairs.
Where does this world get off telling each other what and what not to do? All that happens is that the subject carries on regardless.
I just wonder where the lines is; we did what we wanted to do in Iraq regardless and have now turned round and told another country "do as I say, not as I do". We pressed ahead with war; Iran is pushing ahead with nukes.
I just dunno.
i support the Russians methinks. If it is possible to limit development to power tech without branching into bombs then I'm all for it; seems pie in the sky though.
But it's none of my business.
I just hope that it doesn't become (another) war - Iran is a powerful country and any military incursions would be very messy indeed all round.
